Steps To Get Your Appery.io AI Hackathon Prize:

1. Log in to your Appery.io account or create a new free one. If you are a new Appery.io user, contact us at support@appery.io. to request your Extended Trial of the Appery.io Pro Plan for the duration of the hackathon.
2. Start building your winning app!
3. Fill out the Official AI Hackathon Registration Form below to send us your project link and a short video demo by February 10th, 2026.
4. Receive the registration confirmation email and wait for the official announcement of the winners on February 14th, 2026. The prizes are:

Appery.io AI Hackathon: Rules & Guidelines

1. Eligibility

• The contest is open to individuals, teams (up to 4 members), and agencies worldwide.
• Participants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Employees of Appery.io and their immediate families are not eligible to participate.

2. Technical Requirements

• Platform: The core application must be built using the Appery.io platform. While you may use external APIs and backend services (e.g., Firebase, SQL), the UI and logic flow must originate in Appery.io.
• Functionality: The app must be functional. Mockups or design-only prototypes will not be accepted. The app must run successfully on a mobile device (Android or iOS) or as a PWA (Progressive Web App).
• AI Usage: Use of Appery.io’s built-in AI integration features such as AI Assistant.

3. Submission Requirements

To qualify, you must submit the following by February 10th, 2025:

1. Application GUID or Hosted URL: A shared link to your Appery.io project for code review.
2. Application Description: A short description (max 500 words) explaining the problem your app solves and the target audience.
3. Demo Video (optional): A 2-3 minute video uploaded to YouTube/Vimeo demonstrating the app’s features and use case.

4. The “Extended Trial” Perk

• Upon registration, new users or users with expired trials will be granted up to a 60-day extension to the Pro plan.
• This trial is for development purposes only. If you wish to publish the app to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for commercial use, a standard subscription will eventually be required.

5. Intellectual Property (IP)

• You own your code. Appery.io claims no ownership over the intellectual property of the applications created. You are free to monetize, sell, or distribute your app after the contest.
• Marketing Rights: By submitting an entry, you grant Appery.io the right to use your name, project screenshots, and demo video for marketing and promotional purposes (e.g., “Success Stories,” social media features).

6. Judging Criteria (100 Points Total)

• Innovation (30 pts): Is the idea fresh? Does it solve a real problem?
• Implementation (30 pts): How well is the app built? Is the logic sound? Does it use APIs effectively?
• UX/UI Design (30 pts): Is the app intuitive and visually appealing?
• Presentation (10 pts): Quality of the video pitch and documentation.

7. Disqualification

• Apps that violate copyright laws, contain offensive content, or are mere clones of existing templates without significant modification will be disqualified.
