Is there a minimum commitment or contract?
For monthly plans, there is no minimum commitment. For annual plans, there is a 12-month commitment.
When will I be charged?
- You will be charged the same day you sign up. Then, you will be charged automatically on that same day each month.
- You will be charged the day you sign up. Then, you will be charged automatically on that same day each year. Overages will be charged monthly.
Please note that it is your responsibility to cancel the subscription if you no longer want to use Appery.io.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, you can cancel any time; however, we don’t offer refunds for the time remaining in the billing period (rest of the month or annual).
What is your policy regarding inactive free (Starter plan) accounts?
If I upgrade my plan in the middle of the billing cycle, how will I be charged?
We will prorate the unused portion of your existing plan, and apply it as a credit toward your new plan. This will begin a new billing cycle.
What is your refund policy?
Appery.io has several subscription plans, all of which are non-refundable. We recommend you first sign up for the Starter plan (free) to see if Appery.io is the right fit for you.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes, we never see your credit card information, and we don’t keep it on our servers. The payment is processed by a reliable industry leader, Chargify.
What are the payments options?
We accept Visa, MasterCard cards. For large payments and for Enterprise plans, we accept purchase orders. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
How many users are included in a subscription?
Initial subscriptions include one user. Additional team members can be added per our price list above. Note that we do not limit the number of app users. This relates only to developers in your team.
*How are my overage charges billed?
Overage charges are billed monthly for all plans. Even if you have a plan that is billed annually, you must have a valid credit card on file for potential overage charges.
My plan is grandfathered. Anything I should know about a grandfathered plan?
- You can keep your grandfathered plan as long as you keep the subscription active.
- If you need to make a change to your plan (edit number of users, upgrade/downgrade), you will need to select one of the current plans. Grandfathered plans cannot be modified.
- If your payment lapses you will need to select a current plan. We cannot move you back to the grandfathered plan.
Can you explain the script limits?
- Script Exec. Time – the maximum time the script will be allowed to run
- Script Burst Rate – the minimum number of requests per second
- Scheduled Scripts – the maximum number of scheduled scripts
- Script Exec. Interval – the minimum time interval between invoking scheduled scripts
- DB/Proxy Burst Rate – the maximum number of requests per second to database and proxy
Do you have overages?
Yes, the overages for Basic, Standard, Pro, and Premium plans:
APIs: 5¢ per 1,000 over
Storage: 50¢ per GB over
Pushes: 5¢ per 1,000 over
The Starter plan doesn’t have overages.
How do you define a user?
A “user” in terms of our pricing plans is someone who uses Appery.io to build an app. It is NOT someone who downloads or uses an app created with Appery.io after it’s been finished.
Does every additional user seat get the same number of apps and allotment for API calls?
No. The number of apps and allotment of API calls, pushes, and storage are shared among all users under one account. In order to increase the number of apps or allotment of API calls you should upgrade to a higher level plan. If you already have a Premium-level subscription, please contact us for custom plans.
Can you explain the app version limit?
Versioning allows you to create a version of the app and then restore it at any point. Think of it as a built-in source control for your entire app. Every plan gets different number of versions you can create.
Do I need to keep paying for a subscription once the app is finished?
If your app does not use Appery.io backend services, no. In this case, you need a subscription only as long as you build or update the app. The final app (once exported or published) will not be tied to the platform.
Do you offer Service Level Agreements (SLAs)?
We do offer SLAs as part of our Enterprise plans. Please reach us via the “contact us” button shown as part of the Enterprise Plan above for more information.
What’s an API call?
It’s a single API call (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE) from a mobile app to any Appery.io backend service. For example, creating a new user is a single API call. Getting a list of ten products is also a single API call. Making a request that returns no data also counts as one request.

Does the Starter plan have any overage charges?
No. The Starter plan is free with no overage charges.
Do you offer Education Plans for Schools?
Yes. Many educational instutions use Appery.io as part of their curriculum. Educators or school administrators please contact email@example.com for more information. Students contact firstname.lastname@example.org for 50% off a temporary Standard plan.
Can I have as many pages as I want in my apps?
Yes. Only the Starter plan is limited to 3 pages per app. Other plans have unlimited pages.
